Both Worldwide Brands and Salehoo are popular directories, and there are detailed Salehoo reviews all over the Internet. In this short post I'm just going to compare the key features of each – and hopefully offer some advice for anyone looking to join either directory.
Salehoo is a directory of about 6,800 certified drop-shippers and wholesalers with about one and a half million products available at trade prices to search through and buy directly from each supplier.
Membership to Salehoo costs $67 a year and for that you also get access to the forums and tools for market research.
Worldwide Brands is a similar directory to Salehoo, but with more suppliers (8,000+) and many more products (over 16 million) than Salehoo. Like Salehoo, all of the suppliers in Worldwide Brands are researched and certified as legitimate and it comes with the same extras.
Membership to the Worldwide Brands directory costs $299 (although there are $50 discounts) and that's for lifetime membership – there are no annual fees.
Value for Money
While Salehoo is initially the cheapest of the two, Worldwide Brands is cheaper in the long term as it has no recurring fees for membership.
Moreover, if you divide the price of membership by the number of products in each directory, Worldwide Brands works out to be much cheaper per wholesale product.
